Introduction

Vuoro is a rostering, time tracking, and payroll system designed for Finnish amusement parks. It covers the whole workforce management cycle: forecasting demand, building shift rosters, tracking the hours people actually work, and calculating payroll in line with the Finnish Amusement Park collective agreement (TES).

Key Features​

Planning and Rostering​

  • Rostering — Build 14- or 21-day roster windows on a keyboard-accessible grid. You can reuse templates, copy and paste shifts, and follow a day timeline and staff calendar, then publish when the roster is ready.
  • Open Shifts, Offers and Swaps — Offer shifts to eligible employees and let employees swap shifts with each other. Supervisors can also swap two employees' shifts directly on a published roster.
  • Compliance — Rosters are checked automatically against working-time limits, rest periods, overlaps, availability, and approved leave.
  • Demand-Driven Planning — Use ingested demand forecasts and staffing coverage targets to plan staffing levels, with AI-assisted roster drafting and employee assignment.
  • Budgeting and Labour Cost — Set weekly budgets and staff-cost-ratio targets, and compare rostered and realised labour cost against them.
  • Booking Feed — Reservations from external booking systems appear on the roster grid, with location mapping, title filters, and support for updates and cancellations.

Time Tracking and Timesheets​

  • Time Tracking — Employees clock in with a PIN at a kiosk or from their own phone. Clock-ins made offline sync automatically when the device reconnects, and employees are told if a clock event could not be saved.
  • Timesheets — Approve hours period by period, with configurable rounding, corrections, absent-shift visibility, and automatic hour classification. Supervisors are warned about clock-ins left open for too long.
  • Leave and Sick Leave — Handle leave requests, availability, and sick-leave periods. A started shift can be split into worked time and paid sick leave.

Payroll​

  • Payroll — TES-compliant calculation of overtime, evening, night and Sunday premiums, AP days, shift cancellation compensation, allowances, and experience-based wage tiers. Built-in reconciliation checks that stored payroll results still match their source data.
  • Multi-Company Payroll — Run a separate payroll period for each company. An employee who works for several companies can be paid entirely by one employer of record.
  • Netvisor Export — Generate Netvisor-compatible CSV files (payslip, per-location and workday exports) and upload them to Netvisor manually. Vuoro does not sync with Netvisor automatically.
  • Reports — Payroll summaries, hours and overtime, budget vs. actual, sick leave, and certification reports. All CSV exports follow the Finnish format.

People and Communication​

  • Employee Management — Manage employee profiles, location assignments, wage tables, certifications, project fees, and CSV imports. Employee numbers are assigned automatically, and you can invite logins for accounting or admin staff who are not employees.
  • Announcements — Send broadcast messages to one or more locations or departments, with pinning, acknowledgements, and read receipts.
  • Tasks — To-do lists linked to locations, shifts, or employees, with due dates and completion tracking.
  • Notifications — In-app, email, and push notifications for rosters, swaps, offers, leave, and more.
  • Calendar Subscription — Employees can subscribe to their own published shifts from Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar.
  • Shift Pulse and Satisfaction — Short surveys after each shift and an occasional in-app satisfaction rating, with aggregated results for managers.
  • In-App Feedback — Employees can send bug reports and improvement ideas directly from the app.
