Wage Tables

Wage tables define hourly pay rates by pay group and experience level. They follow the Finnish Amusement Park TES structure for experience-based rate tiers.

:::note Required role Creating, editing, copying, bulk-replacing rows, or deleting wage-table versions requires Manager or Company Admin. Supervisors cannot edit wage tables. See User Roles & Access. :::

How Wage Tables Work

Create versioned wage tables with an effective date. Each version contains rows mapping pay groups and experience ranges to hourly rates. The active version (most recent effective date in the past) is used for payroll calculations.

Creating a Version

  1. Go to Settings > Wage Tables.
  2. Click "Create".
  3. Enter the following details:
FieldDescription
NameA descriptive name (e.g., "TES 2026")
Effective DateThe date this version takes effect
Evening RateOptional, additional rate per hour for evening work
Night RateOptional, additional rate per hour for night work

Adding Rate Rows

  1. Open the version.
  2. Click "Add Row" or use bulk edit.
  3. Fill in each row:
FieldDescription
Pay GroupThe pay group code (e.g., "A", "B")
Experience MinMinimum months of experience
Experience MaxMaximum months of experience (leave blank for unlimited)
Hourly RateThe rate in euros

Example

For Pay Group A:

Experience RangeHourly Rate
0 - 11 months12.50
12 - 35 months13.20
36+ months14.00

Rate Resolution

When payroll runs, the system resolves each employee's rate using the following logic:

  1. If the employee has Rate Override enabled, their Base Hourly Rate is used.
  2. Otherwise, the system looks up the active wage table using the employee's Pay Group and Experience Months.
  3. If no match is found, the base hourly rate on the employee record is used as a fallback.

Copying Versions

Click "Copy" on an existing version to duplicate all rows into a new version. This is useful for annual rate updates — copy last year's table, adjust the rates, and set a new effective date.

Managing Versions

  • Edit version names at any time.
  • Delete unused versions.
  • The system automatically uses the most recent effective version for payroll.
