Who Can Edit
Only users with the Company Admin role can view and modify Bradford thresholds. Managers can view Bradford reports but cannot change the threshold configuration.
How Thresholds Are Used
The Bradford Factor score for each employee is calculated as S² x D, where S is the number of separate absence spells and D is total days absent. The score is then compared against the thresholds to assign a level:
- Low — no concern
- Medium — may warrant an informal conversation
- High — consider a formal review
- Critical — significant disruption, may require action
These levels appear as color-coded badges in the Bradford Factor report under Reports > Sick Leave > Bradford Factor.
